Some common sense needed

This story from my local paper.

The thought occurs to me that perhaps the Millions (Billions?) of dollars that this is going to cost could be better spent on providing support to people with Mental Health issues.

You know, so that they never actually get to the stage where they feel the need to fling themselves in front of a train.

Sigh.
